METALLICA In Helsinki: Pro-Shot Footage Available

Official Metallica.com footage of METALLICA's June 14 and June 15, 2009 concerts in Helsinki, Finland — including clips of pre-show meet-and-greets, tuning-room jams and the actual performances — can be viewed below.

METALLICA announced in an e-mail blast to its mailing list on Tuesday (June 16) that the band was postponing a concert in Ottawa, Canada, originally scheduled for October 29, to November 3. The reason? According to the e-mail, "the date change is due to a scheduling conflict with a very cool event coming up around that time. We wanted to let you know about the new date in Ottawa [as soon as possible], but we've been sworn to secrecy on all other fronts . . . more details in mid-to-late July."

METALLICA is rumored to be taking part in the 11th annual Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans, which is scheduled to be held October 30 - November 1 in City Park. This year's Voodoo Experience will feature more than 160 acts playing on eight stages in three performance areas, dubbed Le Ritual, Le Flambeau and Le Carnival. The full lineup is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

All tickets for METALLICA's Ottawa date are good on November 3, and anyone who cannot make the new show is entitled to a refund at their point of purchase.

Everyone attending the rescheduled gig will also receive a voucher for a free download of that night's show at LiveMetallica.com.

METALLICA will start a North American tour on September 14 in Nashville as the band continues supporting 2008's "Death Magnetic" album.
